About Osteopathy
Osteopathy is a leading practice for utilising the bodies natural and scientifically proven healing strength. Although to many Osteopathy may sound the same as a Chiropractor or a Physio therapist it is different in many ways. Osteopaths realise that your structure governs function and function governs structure. Therefore your body will be able to do what it can to improve and heal but only if allowed or coached to. If you suffer from an issue due to an incident, age or heriditary genomes has much to do with the treatment but it is also important to remember that your body has the ability to improve its function regardless of these factors. The way you sit, walk, rest, work and play all decide on what your body structure and functions will be. This makes sense to us and so we recommend Osteopathy. An Osteopath treats illnesses, pains and strains which affect bone, tissue, nerve and muscle. Typical problems treated:- - Back pain
- Headaches
- Spinal problems
- Arthritic conditions
- Joint problems
- Sports injuries
- Repetitive Strain Injuries
- Postural problems (including pregnancy)
- Childhood problems
